Walker Products Oxygen Sensor P/N:250-21024
Walker Products 250-24725 oxygen sensor for the 2006-2015 Mazda MX-5 4-cylinder 2.0L and other vehicles measures the oxygen content of the exhaust gas. This downstream sensor monitors the air-fuel ratio for combustion efficiency.
A failed sensor can make the engine run poorly, raise fuel consumption and exhaust emissions, or light the malfunction indicator lamp. A vacuum leak can also make an engine run poorly, so these signs alone do not prove the sensor is at fault. The sensor, wiring harness and connector can be checked for physical damage.
This direct-fit sensor fits the 2006-2015 Mazda MX-5 4-cylinder 2.0L and the 2006-2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata 4-cylinder 2.0L.

Build and materials
One oxygen sensor. This listing is a single sensor, and these cars need one in this position.
Product information is for general reference and may contain errors. See our Disclaimer.
Is this MX-5 oxygen sensor right for the 2006-2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata 4-cylinder 2.0L?
Yes. Walker Products 250-24725 is a downstream sensor that fits the 2006-2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata 4-cylinder 2.0L and the 2006-2015 Mazda MX-5 4-cylinder 2.0L.
Is this Walker Products oxygen sensor narrow-band or wideband?
Walker Products 250-24725 is a narrow-band sensor with four wires.
How many sensors come in the 250-24725 package?
One. This listing is a single downstream oxygen sensor, and the car takes one.
Can a worn downstream oxygen sensor turn on the check engine light?
Yes, it can. A failed sensor can also cause poor running, higher fuel consumption or more exhaust emissions, and a shop can read the stored fault codes.
What does the coating on this oxygen sensor protect?
The coating protects the electrode surfaces from contamination and erosion by combustion residue and particulates in the exhaust gas. The electrodes are made of a gas-permeable platinum layer.
