Walker Products Oxygen Sensor P/N:250-241321
Walker Products 250-54063 oxygen sensor for the 2006-2015 Mazda MX-5 4-cylinder 2.0L and other vehicles measures the oxygen in the exhaust gas. This upstream, 4-wire wide-band air-fuel ratio sensor reports combustion efficiency back to the ECU.
A failing sensor can show up as rough running, higher fuel consumption, more exhaust emissions or a lit malfunction indicator light. A damaged wiring harness or connector can be behind those signs too, so find the cause before buying a sensor. With the engine off and cool, look over the sensor, harness and connector for physical damage.
This oxygen sensor is a direct-fit replacement for the 2006-2015 Mazda MX-5 4-cylinder 2.0L and the 2006-2008 Mazda MX-5 Miata 4-cylinder 2.0L.

Will this MX-5 oxygen sensor fit a 2006-2015 Mazda MX-5 4-cylinder 2.0L?
Yes. Walker Products 250-54063 is an upstream sensor for the 2006-2015 Mazda MX-5 4-cylinder 2.0L, and it also fits the 2006-2008 Mazda MX-5 Miata 4-cylinder 2.0L.
Is this Walker Products oxygen sensor a wide-band type?
Yes. This oxygen sensor is a 4-wire wide-band air-fuel ratio sensor for the upstream position, and it determines the oxygen content of the exhaust gas.
What are the electrodes on this oxygen sensor made of?
The electrodes have a gas-permeable platinum layer. A coating on the electrode surfaces protects them from combustion residue and particulates in the exhaust gas.
What signs can point to a failing upstream oxygen sensor?
The engine can run poorly, fuel consumption or exhaust emissions can rise, or the malfunction indicator light can come on. Newer vehicles store fault codes in the ECU, and a shop can read them.
Does the 250-54063 sensor give the ECU the diagnostic feedback it needs?
Yes. Walker Products 250-54063 is made for its specific application and fitment position and provides the diagnostic system feedback the ECU requires.
