Walker Products Oxygen Sensor P/N:350-35130
Walker Products 350-34244 front oxygen sensor for the 1998-1999 Mazda 626 4-cylinder 2.0L and the 1998-2000 626 V6 2.5L measures the oxygen in the exhaust gas to monitor the air-fuel ratio. This Walker Products oxygen sensor is a four-wire, narrow-band unit that gives the ECU the diagnostic feedback it needs.
A failing oxygen sensor can make the engine run poorly, raise fuel consumption and exhaust emissions, or turn on the malfunction indicator light. Before you replace the sensor, rule out damage to its wiring harness and connector by looking them over for physical damage, since these signs overlap with other engine problems.
This direct-fit oxygen sensor fits the 1998-1999 Mazda 626 4-cylinder 2.0L and the 1998-2000 626 V6 2.5L.

Build and materials
One oxygen sensor. Both engines take one.
Is this an oxygen sensor for the 1998-2000 Mazda 626 V6 2.5L?
Yes. Walker Products 350-34244 fits the 1998-2000 Mazda 626 V6 2.5L, and it also fits the 1998-1999 626 4-cylinder 2.0L.
Is the Walker Products 350-34244 a narrow-band or wideband sensor?
Narrow-band. Walker Products 350-34244 is a four-wire narrow-band oxygen sensor with M18 - 1.5 threads.
How are the electrodes of this oxygen sensor protected?
A coating protects the electrode surfaces from contamination and erosion by combustion residue and particulates in the exhaust. The electrodes are made with a gas-permeable platinum layer.
Is this oxygen sensor sold as a single sensor?
Yes. This listing is one oxygen sensor, and each engine it fits takes one.
Does a stored fault code mean this oxygen sensor has failed?
Not by itself. Newer vehicles store fault codes in the ECU, and some relate to the sensor and its associated systems, so a shop can read them.
