Walker Products Oxygen Sensor P/N:350-341076
Walker Products 350-64068 oxygen sensor for the 2000-2001 Subaru Outback H4 2.5L and other vehicles measures the oxygen in the exhaust gas. Its readings give the ECU the feedback it needs on combustion efficiency.
A failing sensor can show up as rough running, higher fuel consumption, more exhaust emissions or a lit malfunction indicator light. Those signs alone do not prove the sensor is at fault, because a damaged wiring harness or connector can cause them too.
This is an oxygen sensor replacement for the 2000-2001 Subaru Outback H4 2.5L. It also works as an oxygen sensor for the 1999 Subaru Legacy H4 2.2L and the 2000-2001 Legacy H4 2.5L, and it fits the 1999-2001 Subaru Impreza H4 2.2L. One upstream sensor is needed per engine.
Fit and size
Build and materials
Is this the right oxygen sensor for a 2000 Subaru Outback H4 2.5L?
Yes. Walker Products 350-64068 fits the 2000-2001 Subaru Outback H4 2.5L, and it goes in the upstream position.
Can I use this as a Subaru Impreza oxygen sensor on a 1999-2001 Impreza H4 2.2L?
Yes. Walker Products 350-64068 fits the 1999-2001 Subaru Impreza H4 2.2L as an upstream sensor, one per engine.
What does the platinum layer do on this Walker Products oxygen sensor?
The electrodes are coated with a gas-permeable platinum layer. The coating protects the electrode surfaces from contamination and erosion by combustion residue and particulates in the exhaust gases.
How many wires does this wide-band oxygen sensor have?
This air fuel ratio sensor is wide-band and 4-wire, with an M18 - 1.5 thread.
Will a failing oxygen sensor set a fault code on a newer car?
Yes, newer vehicles store fault codes in the ECU, and some of those codes relate to the affected sensor and its associated systems.
