This set carries high-voltage current from the ignition coil and/or distributor to the spark plugs to ignite the air-fuel mixture in each cylinder, and it drops in as a direct-fit replacement for many vehicles, among them the 1986-1988 Chevrolet Caprice, 1986-1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and 1986-1987 Chevrolet El Camino. Wire construction: SAE J2031-rated, Class E Silicone EPDM wire with a 350-ohm ferrite-impregnated Kevlar core, stainless steel "MAG" wound, plus a latex silicone layer that supports conductive efficiency and core stability.

Suppression: RFI and EMI suppression technology to help minimize interference for a smoother ignition.
