SKF Wheel Seal P/N:13700

Keep lubricant in and road grime out at the rear wheel with the SKF wheel seal, part number 13700. This rear wheel seal is a direct-fit replacement for a long list of classic Ford and Mercury vehicles, including the 1963-1970 Ford Falcon, 1966-1971 Mercury Cyclone, 1967-1968 Ford Mustang, 1968-1973 Mercury Cougar, 1971-1977 Ford Maverick, 1975-1980 Ford Granada and 1983 Ford Ranger. A wheel seal stays stationary in its bore while its sealing edge rides against the rotating surface. It holds lubricant in the bearing area and keeps contaminants out. Signs it may need replacing include lubricant seeping at the rear wheel, or wet residue on the backing plate or brake parts. It may also need replacing if the seal was disturbed during axle or bearing service.
