Keep dust and grit out of your heavy-duty engine's intake with the Wix air filter 42208, an HD outer air filter element that traps airborne contaminants before they reach the engine. It is a direct-fit replacement for many vehicles, among them the 1981-1987 Kenworth L700 with the 7.0L, 9.0L, 10.0L, 10.5L or 14.0L engine, the 1984-1986 Kenworth C500 with the 7.0L or 9.0L engine and the 1990-1994 International 2554 7.6L. It also fits a wide range of off-highway equipment.
An engine air filter cleans the incoming air so the engine can breathe properly. Over time the pleats load with dirt and airflow drops. Signs this outer element may need replacing include visible dirt buildup on the media, a high reading on the intake restriction indicator (on equipment that has one), or reaching the scheduled service interval. Quantity per application is 1. Country of origin: United States.
Listed truck engines include L6-7.0L, L6-7.6L, L6-10.0L, 6-10.5L, L6-14.0L and V6-9.0L, and the part also covers many off-highway applications. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list of applications.
