Wix 46770 outer air filter for the 2017-2019 Peterbilt 520 6-cylinder 8.9L, the 2017-2021 520 6-cylinder 11.9L and other vehicles and equipment traps airborne dirt before it reaches the engine. As one of the Wix engine air filters in the HD line, it is the outer element and seals with a radial seal.
The WIX HD line is recommended for OEM air filter change intervals. A filter packed with dirt, or one with a torn pleat or a damaged sealing edge, is due for replacement. Less power can come from a restricted filter, but other parts can cause it too, so with the engine off and cool, look at the pleats and the sealing edge for packed dirt, tears or dents before you replace anything.
The vehicles and equipment it fits include the 2017-2018 Peterbilt 320 6-cylinder 11.9L and the Caterpillar 740, along with many more. Open the "Vehicles it fits" section to check your exact model and engine.
