Wix filters are built for demanding service, and the WIX Spin-On Lube Filter 51741XD is an extreme-duty diesel oil filter made for critical operating conditions. It fits many vehicles and is a direct-fit replacement for the 2003-2005 Kenworth W900 and 2003-2004 Kenworth T800 with the L6-8.3L engine. It also covers a long list of off-highway equipment, including AGCO and AGCO Allis tractors, Case / Case-IH combines, cotton pickers, excavators, forestry equipment and loader/tool carriers, Bandit Industries tree chippers, and Barko forestry equipment.

This Wix oil filter uses WIX's U.S. patented dual-element construction with Spin-Flow Technology, which pairs a full-flow element with a pleated bypass element. WIX designs it to deliver higher performance than a conventional single-element filter. It is cataloged for the full-flow/by-pass position and is recommended for OEM oil and filter change intervals.

• Heavy-duty media: high-quality, high-capacity cellulose media with a 35 micron rating, intended for medium and heavy trucks and for farm, construction, mining and other equipment.
• Strong housing: high-strength, corrosion-resistant can, center tube and end caps, paired with sealing components designed to resist leaks.
• Key specs: 2 1/4-12 thread, 9.34 in height, 4.668 in top outer diameter, closed top inner diameter and a 370 PSI burst pressure. It has no anti-drain back valve.
