The Wix 58618 auto trans filter kit for the 2003-2007 Toyota Highlander and other vehicles traps dirt and wear particles in the automatic transmission fluid.
- The design and construction keep unfiltered fluid from slipping past the filtration media.
- The filtration media is application specific.
- Lock-seamed, sealed assembly with application-specific sealing components for complete filtration.
- Sealing gaskets are designed for use with today's sophisticated transmission fluids.
As the filter loads up with debris, fluid flow can drop. That can show up as late engagement into gear, slipping or harsh shifts. Low or degraded fluid, a sticking shift solenoid or worn clutch packs can bring on those symptoms too, so find out what's behind them before you order.
This automatic transmission filter kit also fits the 2003-2012 Toyota RAV4 and the 2002-2005 Toyota Camry. You'll find the other Toyota, Lexus and Scion models it fits, each with its years, in the "Vehicles it fits" section.
