Description

Get a more focused ignition spark from the Autolite spark plug XP26, part of the Iridium XP line, which pairs an iridium-enhanced fine-wire center electrode with a proprietary platinum ground electrode for added durability. It fits many vehicles, among them the 1980 Ford F-150 (V8-5.8L), 1984-1985 Ford Mustang (V8-5.0L) and 1973-1974 Ford F-250 (V8-7.5L). See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list.

Iridium-enhanced fine-wire center electrode: Designed to increase ignitability and deliver a more focused ignition. It is built on a copper core.
Proprietary platinum ground electrode: Adds durability and wear resistance and is intended to extend plug life. It has a nickel core and a taper-cut tip that improves ignitability.
High-alumina multi-rib ceramic insulator: Provides thermal conductivity and insulation for strength, and helps prevent flash-over.
Nickel-plated shell: Resists corrosion.

Specifications: M14-1.25 metric thread (14 mm), tapered seat, 5/8 in hex and Autolite heat range 7. It is a resistor plug rated at 4000 ohms, with a mid-projection center electrode, a non-removable terminal nut and an insulator height of 2.47 in (62.7 mm). It is not indexed, and no washer is included. This is a performance-grade plug backed by Autolite's lifetime limited warranty. Country of origin: Mexico.
