• Desiccant bag kit with plug: Supplies a replacement filter drier desiccant bag together with a plug.
• Filters the system: The filter drier removes moisture and contaminants from the air conditioning system. Four Seasons notes that flushing cannot remove these contaminants, which is why it calls replacing the drier essential.
• Moisture absorption: The desiccant bag absorbs moisture in the system. In a leaking or 'open' system the bag can become saturated within a few hours, and a saturated bag leaves the filter drier ineffective.
