Keep your air conditioning system dry and free of circulating contaminants with the Four Seasons A/C Receiver Drier / Desiccant Element 83198. This desiccant bag kit ships with a plug and drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2013-2020 Ford Fusion and 2013-2016 Lincoln MKZ — see the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine-level coverage.
- Removes moisture and contaminants: acts as a filter, pulling moisture and debris out of the refrigerant that flushing alone cannot clear, which is why replacing the drier is essential.
- Desiccant bag absorbs moisture: the desiccant bag draws moisture from the system; a leaking or "open" system can saturate the bag within a few hours, leaving the drier ineffective.
- Durable build: quality welds for a leak-free design, paired with high-quality desiccant for appropriate absorption.
- Ready to install: includes the necessary gaskets, o-rings and seal, and is produced in an ISO/TS16949 & ISO14001 certified facility.
Four Seasons notes that replacement is required to validate the compressor warranty and that the drier must be replaced anytime the system is opened for service.
