This part cross-references / interchanges with the following part numbers:
What does this receiver drier do?
It acts as a filter, removing moisture and contaminants from the A/C system using a desiccant bag. Flushing cannot clear these contaminants, so replacing the drier is essential when the system is serviced.
Does it come with installation hardware?
Yes. The kit includes the necessary gaskets, o-rings and seal, plus a plug, so you have the sealing pieces needed for installation.
Why should I replace the drier when servicing the A/C system?
Four Seasons states replacement is required to validate the compressor warranty and that the drier must be replaced any time the system is opened. A saturated desiccant bag leaves the drier ineffective.
Will this fit my Mercedes-Benz?
It fits a range of Mercedes-Benz models, including the C63 AMG, CLS, E-Class, SL and SLS AMG. Check the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm your exact year and model.
What are signs the drier may need replacing?
Reduced cooling, moisture in the system, or any time the A/C is opened for repair. If the system has been leaking or left open, the desiccant can saturate within hours.
