This 8mm custom-fit set upgrades the OE ignition system with high-spark delivery for street-driven applications, and it drops in across a wide range of 1970s–1980s GM V8s — including the 1977 Buick Century, 1974-1981 Chevrolet Camaro, 1973-1980 Chevrolet Caprice, 1975-1988 Chevrolet G20, and 1977-1980 Pontiac Firebird, in V8-4.3L, V8-4.4L, V8-5.0L, V8-5.7L, V8-6.6L and V8-7.4L. • Graphite core, 8mm build: Carbon-graphite core with a high-gloss silicone jacket, rated to 450°F, extruded over a tightly woven fiberglass braid and high-dielectric EPDM inner insulation.
• HEI stock-style boots: OEM-style silicone boots with stainless steel plug terminals; boot temperature rating and resistance meet or exceed OE.
• RFI suppression: Helps reduce radio-frequency interference on street-driven vehicles.
• Custom fit: Wires are routed over the valve cover in a yellow finish; covers pre- and post-HEI vehicles.

Worn or cracked ignition wires can cause misfires, rough running, and hard starts. If failed spark plug wires are the cause, this set replaces them. Made in China.
