Description

Designed for quiet, consistent braking at the rear, this ADVICS brake pad set, part number AD1816, is an ultra-premium rear pad built around ceramic friction material. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2015-2020 Kia Sorento, 2017-2018 Hyundai Santa Fe and 2017-2019 Hyundai Santa Fe XL, all engines. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.

ADVICS uses approved ceramic friction materials for consistent braking performance, and designs and builds these pads to original equipment specifications. The manufacturer describes them as quiet, smooth and low-dust in operation.

Ceramic friction: integrally molded onto a black, fine blank steel backing plate.
OEM-mirrored slots and chamfers: the pads are slotted with chamfered edges to help reduce noise, vibration and harshness.
Multi-layer shims: black multi-layer pad shims are included. ADVICS builds them to OE-level standards to help keep noise and vibration down.
Wear warning: a mechanical pad wear sensor comes attached to give an audible alert when the pads wear down.
Hardware kit: mounting hardware is included. Abutment clips and brake lubricant are not included.
