It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 2010-2012 Ford Fusion (V6-3.0L) and the 2010-2011 Mercury Milan (V6-3.0L). The module draws fuel through a strainer inlet and delivers it through a quick-connect outlet, operating on 12 volts DC to supply the engine with the fuel it needs.
