Support the powertrain and tame vibration with the Anchor Engine Mount 2794, a front-left mount that drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 1993-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment). It helps support and locate the engine while isolating vibration and limiting movement, so worn, cracked, or separated rubber that shows up as engine shake at idle or a clunk on acceleration, deceleration, or shifting can be addressed.

  • Front-left position: engineered and designed to OE standards using a CAD/CAM process for consistent quality.
  • Rubber construction: built from natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber that resists wear and stays stable as it ages for long service life.
  • Chemlock® bonding: a bonding agent creates a strong rubber-to-metal bond.
  • Application-tuned: rubber is manufactured to specific Durometer (hardness) measurements based on the vehicle application; any included fasteners are hardened steel with heat-treated Grade 5 bolts.

If a failed engine mount is the cause of your vibration or movement, this unit replaces it. Consult the vehicle service information for the correct fasteners and whether they may be reused.

It is a direct-fit replacement for the 1993-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Check the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm engine-level fitment for your vehicle.

What position is this mount?

It is the front-left engine mount. It helps support and locate the engine on that side while isolating vibration.

What does an engine mount do?

It supports and locates the engine and dampens vibration between the powertrain and the chassis, limiting movement while the engine runs.

What are the signs my engine mount may need replacing?

Watch for engine vibration at idle, a clunk on acceleration, deceleration, or shifting, and cracked or separated mount rubber. Diagnose the cause before replacing.

What is the mount made of?

It uses natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber tuned to a specific Durometer hardness for the application, with a Chemlock bonding agent for a strong rubber-to-metal bond.
