Description

Quiet powertrain vibration and hold the engine steady with the Anchor Engine Mount 2861, a front-left mount built to OE standards. It's a direct-fit replacement for the 1998-2002 Ford Crown Victoria, 1998-2002 Lincoln Town Car, and 1998-2002 Mercury Grand Marquis — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment.

This mount helps support and locate the engine while damping the vibration and movement it produces. Anchor engineers each mount using its CAD/CAM process for consistency and quality.

Vibration control: supports the engine and dampens the vibration transmitted to the chassis.
Durable rubber: uses only natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber that resists wear and stays stable as it ages for long life and performance.
Strong bond: a Chemlock® bonding agent creates a superior rubber-to-metal bond.
Application-tuned: the rubber is manufactured to a specific durometer (hardness) based on the vehicle application; any included fasteners are hardened steel with heat-treated Grade 5 bolts.

Signs a mount may need replacing include vibration at idle, or clunking on acceleration, deceleration, or shifting, along with cracked or separated rubber. If a failed mount is the cause, this replaces the original front-left unit.
