Description

Quiet the shakes and keep the powertrain planted with the Anchor Engine Mount 9596, a front engine mount that helps support and locate the engine while damping the vibration it sends into the chassis. It drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 1999-2004 Volvo S40 and 2000-2004 Volvo V40 (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details).

Supports and isolates: cushions the engine to limit movement and reduce the vibration and noise felt at idle and under load.
Purpose-built rubber: molded from natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber that resists wear and stays stable as it ages for long service life.
Application-matched hardness: the rubber is manufactured to specific Durometer (hardness) measurements based on the vehicle application.
Strong bond: a Chemlock® bonding agent is used for a superior rubber-to-metal bond, and any included fasteners are hardened steel with heat-treated Grade #5 bolts.

Engineered and designed to OE standards using CAD/CAM processes for consistent quality. Signs the original mount may need replacing include a clunk on acceleration, deceleration, or shifting, extra vibration at idle, and cracked or separated rubber.
