Keep the powertrain planted and tame engine rock with the Anchor Engine Torque Strut Mount 3142, a rear lower torque strut that helps support and locate the engine while limiting torque roll under acceleration and deceleration. It drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications — the 2008-2012 Ford Taurus, 2008-2009 Ford Taurus X, 2008-2009 Mercury Sable, 2009-2012 Ford Flex, and 2009-2012 Lincoln MKS (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level detail).

Controls torque roll: the torque strut is designed to counter engine torque roll and rocking as the engine loads and unloads.
Engineered to OE standards: designed to OE standards using a CAD/CAM engineering process for consistency and quality.
Durable rubber bond: natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber that resists wear and stays stable as it ages, with a Chemlock® bonding agent for a strong rubber-to-metal bond. Rubber is built to specific Durometer (hardness) values based on the vehicle application.
Grade #5 hardware: any included fasteners are hardened steel with heat-treated Grade #5 bolts.
