This Federal/EPA converter installs in the front-left position as a direct-fit replacement for the 2004-2006 Nissan Maxima and 2004-2009 Nissan Quest, both equipped with the V6-3.5L engine. It converts harmful pollutants in the exhaust stream, and if a clogged or failed original converter is behind your emissions trouble, this drops in to replace it.
