Designed to provide a responsive yet comfortable ride, the Arnott Industries AS-3234 Air Suspension Strut is a complete rear air strut assembly for the 2010-2019 Jaguar XJ. It fits both standard and long wheelbase models. It arrives completely new, is pre-assembled for easy installation, and is built with OE-quality components.
Engineered in the USA, this Arnott-designed strut bypasses Jaguar's active damping and converts adaptive to passive. The design is intended to address several common high-wear weak points of the OE strut, including a leaky upper seal, a noisy upper mount and a weak lower seal.
- Shock absorber: Custom-made premium monotube shock absorber, custom tuned to ride like OEM suspension.
- Components: ContiTech air bladder, heavy duty crimping rings, polyurethane bump stop, O-rings and a new, OE-inspired dampening coil.
- Finish and machining: Anodized aluminum finish and CNC-machined aluminum parts.
Signs a rear air strut may need replacing include a corner that sags after the vehicle sits, audible air leaks, an air compressor that runs more than usual, or a bouncy, unsettled ride.
