This is a front inner boot kit that drops in as an application-specific replacement for the 2008-2012 Mitsubishi Lancer — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment. When a boot cracks or tears, it slings grease and lets in dirt and moisture, which is why replacing a split boot promptly helps protect the joint it covers.
