Key features:

• Copper-free friction formula: The QuietCast friction material uses an advanced aerospace alloy in a patented copper-free formula compliant with 2025 Copper-Free legislation.
• OE-style rubber core shims: Pre-attached multilayer shims bond rubber to steel for lower noise, added strength, and corrosion resistance.
• PTFE & rubber coated hardware: Designed to reduce vibration and noise while helping prevent the pads from binding to the caliper; abutment clips are included, but mounting hardware is not.
• Powder-coated backing plate: Guards against rust and corrosion for increased brake pad life.

A protective transfer layer helps extend pad and rotor life, and synthetic lubricant is included in all applications to help reduce resistance on sliding contact points. Bosch backs the QuietCast line with its OE braking heritage dating to 1927. This set covers both front wheels; replace the pads on both sides of the axle together for balanced braking.
