• Copper-free friction formula: Bosch's patented copper-free formula uses an advanced aerospace alloy and complies with 2025 Copper Free legislation. Bosch engineers formulate and test the friction material.
• Noise control: A pre-attached, OE-style multilayer rubber core shim bonds rubber and steel. Bosch designed it for lower noise, added strength and corrosion resistance. PTFE- and rubber-coated hardware helps reduce vibration and noise and is designed to keep the pad from binding to the caliper.
• Corrosion and wear protection: A powder-coated backing plate helps prevent rust and corrosion to extend the pad's life. A protective transfer layer is designed to extend pad and rotor life.
• Synthetic lubricant included: Bosch supplies it for all applications, and it helps reduce resistance at the sliding contact points.
