Designed to press the brake pads against the rotor at the rear right wheel, the A1 CARDONE brake caliper 19-B2705 is a remanufactured, 100% pressure-tested unit that comes with its caliper bracket. CARDONE remanufactures each caliper to strict quality and performance standards and fits it with new components. This is an unloaded disc brake caliper, so brake pads are sold separately.
- New EPDM seals: The rubber seals are replaced with new high-temperature EPDM rubber.
- Durable pistons: The pistons resist cracking and pitting and are built to handle heavy loads.
- Protected finish: Each caliper is treated with a specially formulated rust inhibitor and kept in its original equipment finish.
- New hardware: New bleeder screws allow easy bleeding and provide a positive seal. Banjo bolts, washers, stainless steel hardware clips and mounting pins are included where applicable. A plastic cap plug protects each brake port thread.
A caliper may need replacing if the vehicle pulls to one side when braking, the pads wear unevenly, a brake drags, or fluid leaks at the caliper. Diagnose the cause before replacing parts, and bleed the brakes after installation. This caliper is sold individually for the rear right position. Replacing both rear calipers together is often recommended for balanced braking. CARDONE's remanufacturing process cuts the energy and raw material needed to make a new part by 80%.
