Cloyes Engine Timing Chain Kit P/N:9-0738SK6
Cloyes 9-0387SGX timing chain kit for the 2002-2010 Ford F-150 V8 4.6L and other vehicles replaces the timing chains, tensioners and guides. Also called an engine timing chain kit, it keeps camshaft rotation in step with the crankshaft.
A chain rattle, a timing-related check-engine code or rough running can mean the chains, tensioners or guides are worn, though a failing camshaft position sensor or a vacuum leak can cause similar symptoms. All the engine timing components are normally replaced together.
This timing chain kit also fits the 2002-2010 Ford Explorer V8 4.6L and the 2005-2010 Ford Mustang V8 4.6L, and each takes one kit. Open the "Vehicles it fits" section to check your exact model and engine.
Two timing chains, two timing chain tensioners, two timing chain guides and two timing chain tensioner guides. Sprockets are not included.
