Dayco Accessory Drive Belt P/N:15545

Send engine power to the pulleys that turn your belt-driven accessories with the Dayco accessory drive belt, part number 15545, a bottom-cog V-belt made from a synthetic rubber compound. It fits many vehicles, among them the 1978-1979 Ford F-150 with the L6-4.9L, the 1983-1987 Ford F-250 with the V8-7.5L and the 1969-1972 Chevrolet Impala. • Sizing: 0.44 in top width, 54.50 in (1384.30 mm) effective length, 55.07 in (1398.78 mm) outside circumference and a 36-degree angle.

• Operating temperature: rated from -35°F to 175°F (-37.2°C to 79.4°C).

A V-belt rides in the grooves of the engine's pulleys and carries rotation from the engine to the accessories it drives. Over time a belt can crack, glaze, fray or stretch. Signs it may need replacing include squealing, especially at startup or under load, slipping, and visible cracks or a shiny, hardened drive surface. If a worn belt is the cause, this Dayco belt replaces it. Check the pulleys and the belt adjustment as well, following the vehicle's service procedure.

This belt is sold individually. The number of belts used varies by application. For example, the 1983-1987 Ford F-250 with the V8-7.5L uses two. The belt is black, and its country of origin is Indonesia.
