Dayco Engine Harmonic Balancer P/N:PB1785N
Dayco PB1783N harmonic balancer for the 2000-2006 Lincoln LS and other vehicles damps vibration from the front of the crankshaft. The engine harmonic balancer also carries one integrated serpentine pulley that drives the accessory belt.
A wobbling pulley, new engine vibration or a belt that wears unevenly can point to a damaged harmonic balancer. Before you replace it, rule out a worn serpentine belt, a weak tensioner or a loose accessory pulley, which can produce similar noise. The engine takes one, mounted at the front of the crankshaft.
It fits the 2000-2005 Lincoln LS V8-3.9L, the 2006 Lincoln LS and the 2002-2005 Ford Thunderbird.
