Description

Tighten up loose, wandering steering with the DELPHI tie rod, the Steering Tie Rod End TA5680. This front outer tie rod end drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2003-2005 Lincoln Aviator (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment). The tie rod end links the steering to the front wheel and transmits steering input while allowing for suspension travel — when the joint wears out you may notice play in the steering, uneven or feathered front tire wear, or a knocking sensation while turning. If a worn front outer tie rod end is the cause, this Delphi unit replaces it.

Micron-tolerance ball studs: Delphi machines the ball studs to micron tolerances for durable, smooth joint operation.
Fatigue tested: Delphi tie rods are fatigue tested to guard against premature failure.
