Tighten up loose, wandering steering with the Delphi Steering Tie Rod End TA1145, an inner tie rod end that drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 1979-1982 Honda Prelude, 1980-1983 Honda Civic and 1982-1989 Honda Accord (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment). As an inner joint, it links the steering gear to the outer tie rod and transmits steering input to the wheel — worn play here can show up as loose or wandering steering, a clunk, or uneven tire wear. If a worn inner tie rod end is the cause, this replaces it.

OE-tested durability: Delphi applies its OE steering expertise to the aftermarket, testing below -40°C and above 120°C with 720 hours of salt spray, plus dimensional and material analysis for close OE-to-aftermarket compatibility.
