Built for strength and smooth operation, the Delphi ball joint TC1792 is a front upper ball joint that forms the pivot between the upper control arm and the steering knuckle, letting the wheel steer and move with the suspension. It is a direct-fit replacement for many vehicles, among them the 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma, 2000-2006 Toyota Tundra and 1996-2002 Toyota 4Runner. A worn suspension ball joint may show up as clunking or knocking over bumps, loose or wandering steering, or uneven tire wear. If a worn front upper ball joint is the cause, TC1792 replaces it. Have the suspension inspected first, and have the alignment checked after installation.
