Bolt in a fresh rear left caliper with the Autospecialty by PowerStop Disc Brake Caliper L4859, which installs directly in place of the original stock unit — no modifications necessary. It's a direct-fit replacement for the 2004-2011 Ford F-150 and the 2006-2008 Lincoln Mark LT (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment). Sold individually.

The caliper houses the piston that presses the brake pads against the rotor to slow the wheel. Signs the original may need replacing include a seized or dragging caliper, uneven pad wear, fluid leaks at the caliper, or a soft brake pedal. Because brakes work as a pair, replacing the caliper on both sides of the axle together is recommended for balanced braking.
