Replace a worn or leaking rear left caliper with the Raybestos R-Line FRC12004. This remanufactured, semi-loaded disc brake caliper and bracket assembly clamps the brake pads against the rotor when the pedal is applied. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2008-2016 Dodge Grand Caravan, 2012-2015 Ram C/V and 2008-2016 Chrysler Town & Country, as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. Raybestos builds its R-Line non-plated calipers from remanufactured OE parts. Castings, guide pins and brackets are carefully inspected before they are reused. All rubber and sealing components are new, and every caliper is tested to help deliver reliable braking.
- New replacement components: seals, boots, bleeder screws, abutment hardware, banjo bolts and O-rings are replaced with new materials. This is intended to keep the caliper leak-free.
- OE-matched materials: the materials match OE specifications and vehicle-specific designs.
- EPDM70 rubber components: selected for heat resistance, performance and durability.
- Pressure tested: every unit is 100% pressure tested.
Specifications: integral parking brake caliper type; cast iron casting; 1.685 in (42.8 mm) piston diameter; M10x1 bleeder screw thread; 12.000 mm bracket mounting hole size with a 1.500 mm thread pitch. Country of origin: Mexico.
This caliper is sold individually for the rear left position, and the listed applications use one. Replacing both rear calipers together is recommended for even, balanced braking. If a seized, dragging or leaking caliper is behind uneven pad wear or a pull to one side, this assembly replaces it.
