Bring firm, even rear drum braking back to your classic with the Dorman - First Stop Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder W4876. It drops in as a direct-fit rear replacement for the 1941-1942 Nash Ambassador 600, the 1939-1942 and 1946-1953 Studebaker Champion, and the 1951-1953 Studebaker Commander (All engines). Mounted in the rear drum brake assembly, the wheel cylinder converts hydraulic brake-fluid pressure into the mechanical force that pushes the brake shoes outward against the drum. If a leaking, seized, or worn cylinder is the cause of a soft pedal, fluid seepage, or uneven rear braking, this replaces it.

• Direct-fit design: specifically engineered to match the fit, function and performance of the original wheel cylinder on the listed applications.
• Cast-iron body: with a 0.875 in inside-diameter bore that is surface-tested for an optimal sealing surface for the pressure cups.
• EPDM rubber cups and boots: for long-lasting sealing performance.
• Bleeder screw included (bleeder screw cap not included); 3/8-24 in inlet thread, 3/8 thread diameter.
