Dorman - HELP A/C Compressor Bypass Pulley P/N:34173
Dorman 34238 a/c compressor by-pass pulley for the 2002-2005 Jeep Liberty and other vehicles lets the original drive belt stay in use once an inoperable A/C compressor is removed.
A failed A/C compressor can show up as warm air from the vents or grinding and squealing from the compressor. A low refrigerant charge, a worn clutch coil or a blown fuse or relay can be behind a warm-air complaint too, so find the cause before buying.
It also fits the 2000-2001 Dodge Dakota and the 2001 Dodge Durango, in addition to the Liberty.
