Keep your front suspension pivoting smoothly with the Dorman - OE Solutions Suspension Ball Joint 533-198. This front lower ball joint links the lower control arm to the steering knuckle, letting the wheel steer and travel through its arc while helping support and locate the front suspension. It installs as a direct-fit replacement ball joint for the Chevy Silverado 1500 and drops in on the 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2000-2006 Chevrolet Tahoe, 1999-2006 GMC Sierra 1500, and many more GM trucks, SUVs and vans — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.

Steel and rubber construction: built to strict standards from sturdy steel with a polychloroprene dust boot and a polymer bearing.
Greaseable design: fitted with a zerk grease fitting for periodic relubrication during service.
Tapered, threaded press-in stud: a tapered stud with 16 mm threads (1.5 mm pitch) presses into the housing; a ball-joint press tool is normally required for installation.
Premium replacement: precision-engineered and tested to fit and perform like the original on the listed applications; includes one mounting nut. Country of origin: Thailand.
