Dorman - OE Solutions Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly P/N:520-520
Dorman 520-391 front left lower control arm with ball joint for the 2004-2008 Ford F-150 and other vehicles joins the wheel to the frame and lets it move with the suspension. Where the original arm is worn, this Dorman control arm replaces the arm, ball joint and bushings in one piece.
A worn arm can show up as a clunk over bumps, loose or wandering steering, or uneven front tire wear. Those signs can have other causes, so find the cause before replacing the arm. With the engine off and the truck parked, look at the rubber bushings for cracks and the ball joint boot for tears; a shop can test the joint for play.
It is a direct replacement for the original assembly on the 2004-2008 Ford F-150, the 2004-2008 Ford Lobo and the 2006-2008 Lincoln Mark LT. This listing is one arm for the front left; the front right is a separate part, and the two are normally done together.
