Dorman - OE Solutions Drive Shaft Slip Yoke P/N:697-610
Dorman 697-502 rear drive shaft slip yoke for the 2000-2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and other vehicles joins the rear drive shaft to the transfer case. This Dorman drive shaft slip yoke directly replaces the original equipment yoke on specified vehicles.
A vibration or a clunk from the rear drive shaft can mean the slip yoke is worn or has failed completely. Before you replace it, rule out worn universal joints, a bent or unbalanced drive shaft and loose hardware, since each of those can also produce a vibration.
The vehicles it fits include the 2000-2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, the 2000-2005 GMC Sierra 1500 and the 1992-1999 Chevrolet K1500, and each takes one.
