Dynamic Friction Company Drum Brake Shoe Set P/N:1901-0165-00
Put fresh friction back in your drum brakes with the Dynamic Friction Company Drum Brake Shoe Set 1901-0445-00, a semi-metallic replacement set for classic Mopar cars, trucks and vans. It's a direct-fit application for a wide range of vehicles, including the 1977-1981 Chrysler Town & Country, 1976-1983 Chrysler Cordoba, 1987-1999 Dodge Dakota, 1978-1983 Dodge Ramcharger, 1980-1989 Plymouth Gran Fury and 1976-1980 Plymouth Volare — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list of 47 applications. Depending on the vehicle, this set is cataloged for the front or rear drum position.
Brake shoes carry the friction lining that presses outward against the drum to slow the wheel. As the lining wears down, you may notice reduced braking, noise, or longer stopping distances — signs the shoes may need replacing. For even, balanced braking, replace the shoes on both wheels of the same axle together as a matched set.
What material are these brake shoes made of?
They use a semi-metallic friction lining on 100% new carbon steel shoes, dipped in a high-temperature anti-rust black corrosion paint. The lining is bonded or riveted per OE specifications.
Are these front or rear drum brake shoes?
Depending on the vehicle, this set is cataloged for the front or rear drum brake position. Check the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm the correct position for your application.
Is mounting hardware included?
Attachment hardware such as levers and pins is included where applicable. Consult the vehicle service information to confirm what your application requires.
What vehicles does this set fit?
It's a direct-fit application for 47 classic Mopar vehicles, including the Dodge Dakota, Ramcharger and Diplomat, Plymouth Gran Fury and Chrysler Cordoba. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.
Should I replace both sides at once?
For even, balanced braking, replace the shoes on both wheels of the same axle together as a matched set rather than one side at a time.
