Description

Damp engine vibration and keep the powertrain properly located with the Anchor Engine Mount 8161. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the front-left and front-right mount position on the 1985-1995 Suzuki Samurai and 1989 Suzuki Sidekick, helping support and locate the engine while isolating vibration and limiting movement.

Application-tuned rubber: molded from natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber that resists wear and stays stable as it ages, with each rubber element built to a specific Durometer (hardness) based on the vehicle application.
Strong rubber-to-metal bond: Chemlock® bonding agent is used for a superior bond between the rubber and metal.
Engineered to OE standards: designed using a CAD/CAM engineering process for consistency and quality.
Hardware: any included fasteners are hardened steel, heat-treated Grade 5 bolts; consult the vehicle service information for the correct fasteners and whether they may be reused.

Worn mounts often show up as vibration at idle, clunking on acceleration, deceleration or shifting, and cracked or separated rubber. If a failed mount is the cause, replacing it restores proper support and isolation.
