Four Seasons A/C Accumulator P/N:33132
Keep your A/C blowing cold and protect the compressor with the Four Seasons A/C Accumulator, part number 33151. It drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 1990 Buick Reatta, 1990 Buick Riviera, 1990-1992 Cadillac Brougham, 1990 Cadillac Eldorado, 1990 Cadillac Seville, and 1990 Oldsmobile Toronado — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details and the full application list.
Backed by over 50 years of mobile A/C experience and produced in an ISO/TS16949 & ISO14001 certified facility, Four Seasons builds these units for long-lasting performance. Replacing the accumulator / filter drier anytime the system is serviced is required to validate the compressor warranty.
What does this A/C accumulator do?
It acts as a filter drier, removing moisture and contaminants from the air conditioning system and using a desiccant to absorb moisture the system's flushing cannot remove.
Which vehicles does part 33151 fit?
It is a direct-fit replacement for the 1990 Buick Reatta and Riviera, 1990-1992 Cadillac Brougham, 1990 Cadillac Eldorado and Seville, and 1990 Oldsmobile Toronado. See the Buyer's Guide tab for details.
Are gaskets and seals included?
Yes. The necessary gaskets, o-rings and seal are included for installation.
Why should the accumulator be replaced when servicing the A/C?
Four Seasons states replacement is required to validate the compressor warranty and should be done anytime the system is serviced, since a saturated desiccant bag makes the unit ineffective.
Why can't the old accumulator just be flushed?
The contaminants and moisture it collects cannot be removed by flushing, so replacing the accumulator / filter drier is essential when the system is opened or serviced.
