A/C Accumulator for 1995-2005 Pontiac Sunfire & More - Four Seasons 83000

Keep your air conditioning dry and clean with the Four Seasons A/C Accumulator (MPN 83000). It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 1995-2005 Chevrolet Cavalier and 1995-2005 Pontiac Sunfire — see the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine-specific coverage. Positioned on the low-pressure side, the accumulator stores refrigerant and uses a desiccant bag to pull moisture out of the system while filtering out contaminants that flushing alone can't remove.

• Filters and dries: Removes moisture and contaminants from the A/C system, which is why replacing the accumulator/filter drier is essential during service.
• Desiccant absorption: A desiccant bag draws in moisture; note that a leaking or "open" system can saturate the bag within a few hours, leaving the unit ineffective.
• Leak-free build: Quality welds are used for a durable, leak-free design, paired with high-quality desiccant for appropriate absorption.
• Install-ready: The necessary gaskets, o-rings, and seal are included for easier installation.

Replacing the accumulator/filter drier is commonly required to validate a compressor warranty and should be done anytime the system is opened for service. Backed by Four Seasons' decades of mobile A/C experience.
