This fixed orifice tube restricts high-pressure liquid refrigerant as it passes toward the evaporator, creating the pressure drop the system relies on to cool. It drops in as a direct-fit replacement across a wide range of GM cars and trucks, including the 1988-2005 Chevrolet Cavalier, 1990-2002 Chevrolet C1500, 2002-2006 Cadillac Escalade, and 2004-2009 Chevrolet TrailBlazer — every listed application uses the [All] engine coverage.

Seals high from low pressure: contains the O-rings and gaskets needed to seal the high-pressure side from the low-pressure side.
