Keep the A/C system clean and dry with the Four Seasons A/C Receiver Drier / Desiccant Element 83413, a filter drier desiccant bag kit that drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2019-2023 Jeep Cherokee (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment). It removes moisture and contaminants from the refrigerant that circulates through the system — debris that flushing alone cannot clear, which is why the drier is replaced whenever the system is opened or serviced.

  • Moisture & contaminant control: Acts as a filter, using a desiccant bag to absorb moisture and trap contaminants from the air conditioning circuit.
  • Kit with plug and seals: Ships as a desiccant bag kit with plug, and includes the necessary gaskets, o-rings and seal for installation.
  • Durable build: Produced in an ISO/TS16949 & ISO14001 certified facility with quality welds for a leak-free design and high-quality desiccant for appropriate absorption.
  • Backed by experience: Built on Four Seasons' 50-plus years of mobile A/C know-how.

A leaking or open system can saturate the desiccant bag within hours, so replacing the drier is essential — many compressor warranties require it any time the system is serviced.
