Keep coolant moving between the heater and thermostat with the Gates heater hose 51747, a premium modular coolant hose built as a direct-fit replacement for the listed GM trucks and SUVs. Modular design: made with OEM-exact hose components such as quick connects, branch connectors/tees and sensors, so it routes into the heater-to-thermostat position like the factory hose.
EPDM construction: EPDM tube with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement and a heat-, ozone- and chemical-coolant-resistant EPDM cover.
Engineered to endure: specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum and resist electrochemical degradation, a leading cause of hose failure.
Rated and certified: meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 under 25 mm (1 in.) ID and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 for 25 mm (1 in.) ID and over; temperature range -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C).

Gates recommends fitting new clamps each time a coolant hose is installed. Do not use for fuel or oil transfer applications.
