It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 2013-2019 Ford Explorer and 2015-2019 Ford Police Interceptor Utility, and is cataloged for the HEATER (UPPER) and HEATER (LOWER) positions. This GATES hvac heater hose is manufactured with OEM-exact hose components such as quick connects and branch connectors.

• Application-specific modular design: manufactured to fit specific applications with integrated OE components such as hose branches, quick-connectors, sensors, and restrictors.
• EPDM construction: EPDM tube with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement and a heat-, ozone-, and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover.
• Built to resist failure: specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum and resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of hose failure.
• Meets SAE standards: SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 under 25mm (1 in.) ID and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 for 25mm (1 in.) ID and over; rated -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C).
