Keep boost pressure moving through a sealed charge-air path with the Gates Intercooler Hose Kit 26229. This is the hot-side (pipe-to-intercooler) kit, and it drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications: the 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 2500 and 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 3500.

• Position: Hot side — the pipe-to-intercooler run.
• Function: Carries hot, pressurized charge air from the turbocharger outlet toward the intercooler inlet.
• Purpose: Provides the hose connection for the hot-side charge-air circuit so compressed air reaches the intercooler without leaking.
• Signs it may need replacing: A cracked, split, or softened charge-air hose, boost leaks, or a loss of boost.

The hot side handles the hottest air in the system, between the turbo and the intercooler, before that air is cooled.
