Keep every rear mile composed with the KYB Gas-a-just KYB shock absorber KG5535, a high-pressure monotube gas shock offered as an OE monotube replacement to help restore your vehicle's original ride and control. • Monotube gas design: Two separate working chambers — an air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness and control, plus a high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston that separates gas and oil for fade-free operation and instant response.
• Triple chrome plated piston rod: An ultra-smooth rod helps reduce seal wear, since fluid leaking can be a cause of shock failure.
• Higher gas pressure: The Gas-a-just's higher gas pressure responds quickly to help improve steering response, and adds up to 25% more damping performance over original equipment shocks.
• Built for hard use: Components and valving designed specifically for your Volvo, with additional damping over OE for vehicles that work, tow, and run larger, heavier tires and wheels.

KYB Gas-a-just also helps keep Electronic Safety Systems performing as designed. Sold individually; replacing both rear shocks together is recommended for balanced ride and handling.
